The rurbanization process classifies rural spaces in five different types: rural space in close proximity to major urban centers, rural space used for tourism, rural space with activities diversification, rural space predominantly agricultural and rural space in difficulty.
This classification is based on the proximity of rural communities to major urban centers and their influence on rural economic activity. READ MORE HERE

Misconception #3: the long time unemployed
Many recruiters that I know hold the preconception that, if you have been unemployed for a long time, you lost it. You don`t have the skills to do the job, you don`t have the knowledge up-to-date. Between them, there are different frames for the time frame in which they consider a person as being unemployed for a long time. I heard about periods of 6 months or 1 year. It varies from recruiter to recruiter.
But they do not think that it is possible that those unemployed people might have better knowledge and improved skills.

When you have all the day free, after the whining period at the beginning, you start doing things to be better seen on the job market. You are following daily the new technologies in your field, you learn new specialized software that might give you an edge or to learn languages. It did and I`m still doing all of these and more.
So, to recruiters, do not discriminate people based on the time in which they are unemployed for a long time. You never know if the perfect candidate isn`t one of them.
Oh! the humanity: Motivated by other people`s drama in movies and songs
I had my last exam for the intermediary course in French. My final test was the verbal expression this Tuesday. It was nice. Easy to describe subject, but, of course, my French wasn’t too good (still have a lot to learn). I had to describe the last movie I saw and tell why did I like or dislike it. I lied a bit. The last movie I saw was Mad Max: Fury Road. Not to easy to describe I would say…and the original with Mel Gibson was much better. Anyway, I describe an all time favorite: The Pianist (with Adrien Brody). I watched, so far, 8 times (out of which 3 times in the same weekend). YOU REALLY NEED TO READ MORE
This is something new for me
At the beginning of the year, as I wrote on this blog, I started French classes. Mainly because I was unemployed and needed something to do in the meantime. It`s been 4 months now since I started.
But what I am trying to say (and it seems that I get mixed up in doing this) is that I liked these 4 months. Mostly because of the people. We laughed a lot, copied from one another and got to know each other a bit.

I’m writing this because I wanted to post a photo we took today in class and didn’t want to simply post it on Facebook or here :).
Becoming a child again
From time to time, each of us has to go back to his childhood and act like a kid. Our childhood (for most) was the best part of our lives. Adults are most of the time too rigid too focused on making money, climbing the corporate ladder and buying stuff.
As kids, we were enjoying the simple stuff: playing.
My wife’s recent “guilty” return-to-childhood was to buy a colouring book and some coloured pencils. It looks great and everyone should try it. It seems to disconnect you and helps you to achieve a sort of peace of mind.

My guilty pleasure?! It`s more violent and not as far from my childhood. I installed on my tablet a new game “Avengers: Age of Ultron – Future fight”. As a kid, I really enjoyed my Terminator 2 game console. The game cartridges were available to loan from some shops around town and I really loved it. Usually I would rent a game cartridge for 1 day and finish the game in that single day.
