Have you ever imagined yourself as a superhero? Being able to fly, saving the world from harm? Well, I did. I imagined using my “powers” in order to save the world from war, hunger, from…everything that is bad out there. I might not be able to fly, stop a speeding train or stuff like that, but I still believe that if I put my abilities and knowledge to the use of mankind I can be a superhero. When being right is wrong in life?
You are always making decisions and communicating them externally. Some decisions are wrong, some are right.
When you are wrong about a decision you made, the right thing to do is to redefine the factors that you took into account during the decision making process and try to come up with a new conclusion.
When you are right, and if this decision is supported by all the factors you took into account, the correct way to move forward with it is to communicate it to third parties and to implement it. Continue reading “When being right is wrong in life?”
How to find inspiration in your work?
I often find myself in front of a white screen, looking once in a while at my keyboard, at my monitor, with a bunch of data by my side. I have a lot of ideas circling around in my mind, but I don`t seem, in those moments, to be able to put them done on “paper” (or in my case in a Word document). The rural-urban divide in #FoodSecurity
For decades now, researchers have noticed a new trend in migration. While 100 years ago, about 85% of all people were living in the countryside, today only 50% of people are living in rural areas. And, as the number of rural inhabitants decreases (with about 180000 people each day), so does the number of people going into agriculture. As I have stated in several previous blog posts, the number of young people going into agriculture is decreasing and we face an ageing population.
